Course Representative
Dalhousie University
Course representative for CSCI 2100, acting as the bridge for student feedback.
What I Did
I served as the primary channel for feedback between the students and the professor. My role was to collect student concerns and suggestions and convey them to the teaching staff. I focused on ensuring accurate representation and clear communication.
Impact
I enabled students to voice their concerns anonymously and effectively. This feedback loop helps the professor adjust to the class's needs and ensures that student voices are heard during the semester.
What I Learned
I learned the importance of being a neutral and effective communicator. Conveying feedback constructively requires stripping away emotion and focusing on the core issues to achieve a positive outcome.
Key Highlights
Addressed student concerns and communicated them anonymously to the professor to ensure fair representation.
Supported peers by advocating for evaluation errors and assisting with exam preparation.
Collaborated with the professor to gather feedback and suggest course improvements.
